About the Role

As a Conference Host, you are responsible for ensuring that conferences and events run smoothly. Your mission includes creating a warm and professional atmosphere by welcoming guests and ensuring they feel well taken care of. You ensure that AV equipment, projectors, and other technical equipment function as they should. You plan and arrange furniture, technology, snacks, lunches, and more. The role requires attentiveness, structure, planning, service mindset, and being one step ahead. Handling unexpected situations and challenges quickly and smoothly with a smile is part of the daily routine.

You are a natural problem solver who loves to fix, solve, and improve while keeping things tidy around you. You spread energy just by being present, and whether you meet a stressed supplier or a new colleague on their first day, you make everyone feel seen, calm, and welcome.

We believe you have experience in service professions and love meeting people. You communicate easily and clearly in both Swedish and English, have good IT skills, and are quick to learn new systems.

The position is a temporary contract until May 31, with a great possibility of extension. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Location: Volvo Group Lundby.
